![]() ![]() You might have to contact them to ask about whether they work or not in India, but I don't know why they would not, especially analog signals. The web site links I provided in my previous posts, item #4, refer to some USB TV tuner adapters that are known to work with Linux. The "VboxGuestAdditions.iso" provides many very useful abilities and drivers, I do not know why they don't automatically make that part of VirtualBox (Vbox) initial install process. In VirtualBox, make sure you have the VboxGuestAdditions.iso loaded (ex:from the SPM), with the adapter plugged in, then you can select to activate connected usb devices which should activate your USB TV tuner. I know you must be frustrated with this because I saw posts from you in other forums since Jan 2015. I am from India so you can suggest me some tv tuner to watch analog tv. In virtual box I can install both of them but when I connect the tv tuner to a usb port virtual box windows can't detect it. I have tried in wine and also in virtual box.The tv tuner comes with a cd with a driver software and one application software for windows. But the driver software can't be instaled with wine. There is showing some error. We could both look around the web and see if there is a compiled version of "usbTV" out there, or if anyone else in this forum knows of one, to let you know. *** Note: the last line above didn't work at all *** usr/src/usbtv-1.0 > sudo chkconfig dkms_autoinstaller on usr/src/usbtv-1.0 > sudo dkms install -m usbtv -v 1.0 Make KERNELRELEASE=3.13.0-37-generic KVERSION=3.13.0-37-generic KERNELDIR=/lib/modules/3.13.0-37-generic/build.(bad exit status: 2)Įrror!
